CCIC Jakarta established its own coal laboratory in Palembang, the capital city of the south Sumatra province in Indonesia in April 2012.
In the effort to demonstrate strict compliance to the highest quality and technical assurance, on 20th June 2013, Coal Laboratory in Palembang has been accredited to ISO 17025 standards by KAN (Komite Akreditasi Nasional), which is the National Accreditation body of Indonesia.
With this setup, we are now able to provide a complete range of services to the international coal community. CCIC Jakarta’s Coal Laboratories can analyse and certify quality of coal originating from pre-shipment and/or stockpile before loading. We also offer quality certification services for coal sampled during loading and discharging.
Laboratory analysis performed are:
- Proximate (Moisture, Ash Content, Volatile Matter)
- Total Sulfur
- Gross Calorific Value
- Ultimate (C,H,N,)
- AFT (Ash Fusion Temperature)
- HGI (Hardgrove Grindability Index)
