ISO 9001

CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd has obtained accreditation from the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) for the ISO 9001:2015.

The ISO 9001 is an international standard widely used throughout the world that sets up a framework to help organizations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction through a systematic approach to deliver consistent products and services through the PDCA cycle.

ISO 14001

CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd has obtained accreditation from the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) for the ISO 14001:2015.

ISO 14001 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for environmental management system. The management system provides a framework to guide the organizations to improve the environmental performance of an organization through the PDCA cycle and thus reducing impact to the environment through consistent approach to meet the corporate environmental objectives.

Effective implementation of the ISO 14001:2015, the organization can have various benefits such as:

ISO 45001

CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd has obtained accreditation from the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) for the ISO 45001:2018.

The ISO 45001 is an international standard that sets out requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. The management system provides a framework to an organization to prevent workplace-related incidents through eliminating/reducing hazards and risks, enhance well-being to workers to achieve a safe and healthy workplace using the PDCA cycle. The implementation of the management system enables the organization to enhance its occupational health and safety performance.

Effective implementation of the ISO 45001:2018 can have various benefits such as:

  • Improvement in safety management, eliminate or reduce occupational health and safety risks and promote continuous improvement of the OH&S performance.
  • A systematic approach in promoting and executing Occupational Health & Safety to raise the OH&S management standards within the organization.

Application

Organizations may contact CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd at +65 6278 1020 or email to certification@ccicsg.com and an appointed representative from our office will contact your office on the certification scheme offered by CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd. Thereafter the following steps will be followed:

  • After understanding your needs, an application form will be sent to your office through email and you may need to fill up the application form for us to evaluate your scope of certification, your company and business activities. Should you need help on the application form you may contact the appointed representative for assistance.
  • A quotation together with management system certification contract will be sent to you after our application review being approved.
  • Upon the receiving of the signed off quotation and contract, our appointed Lead Auditor will contact your office to arrange the audit to be conducted on a mutually agreed date.

Certification Process

Upon the signing up of contract with the client, the various types of audits are stated below:

  • Stage 1 Audit – Review the management system documented information; evaluate the site-specific conditions and determine the preparedness for stage 2; Review the status and the understanding of the standard requirements, obtain necessary information regarding the scope of the management system, review the allocation of resources and agree the details for stage 2, provide a focus for planning stage 2; Evaluate if the level of implementation of the management system substantiates that the organisation is ready for stage 2;
  • Stage 2 Audit – Evaluate the implementation, including effectiveness of the management system, in order to determine whether certification is recommended;
  • Surveillance Audit – To maintain confidence that the certified management system continues to fulfil requirements between recertification audits;
  • Recertification Audit – To verify the conformity and effectiveness against the certified management system continues to fulfil the requirements;
  • Certificate will be issued on successful completion including if there is, any corrective actions for the Stage 2 and recertification audit;
  • During the validity period of the certification, there could be situation of changes to scope(s) of certification, extension of scope(s), change of business address, if required, a special audit could be arranged.

Integrity & Impartiality

Integrity and Impartiality – though linked in many ways – are the foundations on which CCIC Singapore conducts its businesses. Whilst integrity is about adherence to moral and ethical principles, impartiality is the principle of making decisions based on objective criteria, rather than on the basis of bias, prejudice, over-familiarity, or preferring the benefit to one party over another for improper reasons.

All the Company’s services are provided in a professional, independent, and impartial manner, honestly and in full compliance with applicable industry and international standards, practices, approved procedures, and policies. We never give in to any type of pressure from our customers to compromise on our integrity principles.

CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd, through the following values, aims to demonstrate our ethical conduct by:

  • Identifying and avoiding ‘Conflicts of Interest’ at all levels within the organization;

  • Providing a ‘Positive Environment’ to all our staff that is conducive to conducting business and allowing individuals to excel, be creative, take initiatives and be accountable for their actions;
  • Strictly ‘Complying with Laws and Regulations’ that are applicable to our business;
  • Observing obligations of ‘Confidentiality’;
  • Abiding to ‘Fair Marketing’ principles when presenting information about the company to customers.

Complaints & Appeal

For complaints or appeals, you can write to certification@ccicsg.com and after receiving your email, the following steps will be taken:

  • Upon receiving the email, CCIC Singapore will send an email of acknowledgement to the person concern;
  • CCIC Singapore’s management will appoint a competent person to conduct the investigation on the complaint or appeal and the person concern will be kept informed on the competent person;
  • The person concerned may contact CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd to raise their concern if they have evidence of impartiality may be compromised;
  • The person concerned will be updated on the progress of the investigation should the investigation takes more than 1 month from the date of acknowledgement from CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd;
  • Once the investigation is completed, CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd will write to the person concerned on the outcome of the complaints or appeal and the actions taken to address the complaint or appeal.

Reducing the Scope of Certification

The scope of certification will be excluded the parts not meeting the requirements, when the client has persistently or seriously failed to meet the requirement for those parts of the scope of certification. Any such reduction shall be in line with the requirements of the standard used for certification.

Suspension/Withdrawal of Certification & Restoration of Certification

The certificate applicable to a specific business scope covering Management System, process, service, site or Organization may be suspended for a limited period but the suspension would not exceed six months. Client under suspension will be notified officially. During the suspension period, the client shall not identify as a CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd as the certificated Organization.

Failure to resolve the issues that have resulted in the suspension of certification in a time specified by CCIC Singapore Pte Ltd shall result in withdrawal or reduction of the scope of certification.

All Certification once cancelled/withdrawn cannot be restored and the client shall meet all request from CCIC Singapore within the suspension period.

Refusing Certification

Refusal of Certification may arise under the following circumstances:

  • Inability to comply with CCIC Singapore and applicable accreditation requirements;
  • where company is unable to confidently portray its implementation of applied management system;
  • Company is not a legal entity.

Granting of Certification

Certification Decision is formalized by the Certification Decision Committee. The committee will review the report and jointly make the decision.

Certificates are issued to clients following initial audit, extension to accredited scope, recertification audit, upgrade on surveillance or change in company details (name, address etc). No certificate will be issued unless CCIC Singapore has evidence that all non-conforming notices raised have been closed out.

The certificate issue date shall be the date of approval by certification committee chairman Decision date. The expiry date will be three years later.

Use of Certification Mark by Certified Client

  • The certification body’s mark must come before the accreditation mark;
  • The certification body’s mark and the accreditation mark should preferably be boxed up together;
  • Do not display the Accreditation Mark independently of the CCIC Singapore Mark;
  • The client shall only use the mark they are certified to;
  • Use the Mark with the certificate number underneath it;
  • The Assurance Mark is for organizations not products, or product certificates (e.g certificates of analysis, conformity, calibration certificates or testing certificates). It is important not to confuse how people see it and understand what it represents;
  • Make sure the mark is legible and the copy readable. These guidelines include recommended minimum sizes;
  • The certification body’s mark shall maintain similar proportions to the accreditation mark. The difference in the height of the certification body’s mark and the accreditation mark shall not be more than 5%.
